2. What data we collect and why

3. Who we share data with
We share data only to the extent necessary to provide our services:
- our product manufacturing and shipping partner Selfnamed (Latvia, EU) – to make and ship your order;
- courier companies – to deliver your parcel;
- payment service providers Paysera, WooPayments / Stripe and PayPal – to process payments (data is shared only with the provider you choose at checkout);
- to the email delivery service provider MailerLite (EU) – to send the newsletter and discount code, if you have subscribed;
- website hosting provider Hostinger;
- Google (Analytics) and Meta (Facebook Pixel) – only with your consent.
Some service providers (e.g. “Stripe”, “PayPal”, “Google”, “Meta”) may process data outside the EU; in such cases, EU standard contractual clauses or other safeguards provided for by the GDPR apply.
Newsletter
You can subscribe to the newsletter using the form on the website or at checkout (by ticking a separate checkbox that is not pre-selected). We store your email address, selected language, subscription date and source. We use open and click statistics in our emails to improve the content. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of every email or by writing to us at support@skimelin.lt. Once you unsubscribe, your address is no longer used for marketing.
Reviews
About 14 days after your order we send one email with a personal link to review the products you purchased (legal basis – legitimate interest in improving our services). When a review is published, your name, rating and text are visible; your email address is not published. For an approved review, regardless of the rating, we may send you a discount code. If you do not want to receive review requests, write to us at support@skimelin.lt.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict or object to its processing, receive your data in a portable format and withdraw your consent at any time (e.g. by unsubscribing via the link in our emails). Please send requests to support@skimelin.lt – we will reply within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate of Lithuania (L. Sapiegos g. 17, LT-10312 Vilnius, www.ada.lt).
5. Cookies
We use the following on our website:
- strictly necessary cookies – for the basket, login, language selection and security (no consent required);
- analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) – only with your consent;
- marketing cookies (e.g. Meta Pixel) – only with your consent.
You can change your consent at any time via the cookie settings banner or by deleting cookies in your browser.
